ABOUT ME

My own healing journey informs my work.

Therapy, plant medicine, and the tarot have all had significant impacts on my life, and I am forever a student of each modality. I experience them as being in direct relationship to one another- filling in the gaps at each other’s edges. It is my intention with Sunshadow Healing to normalize and create more space for spirituality and mental healthcare to exist together. They are interconnected just like our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Healing isn’t linear or a destination. It’s a commitment, it’s work, but it can also be pleasurable, funny or just weird. It is a process we can choose to pick up and put down as we see fit. Each of us deserves to be the freest versions of ourselves, and to choose to heal is to actively push back against the systemic violence we exist within. Choosing to heal can mean becoming an active participant in your own destiny, as you embark on the journey of remembering what those who came before you have left behind for you.

I'm a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, psychic medium, and spiritual herbalist on Lenape and Yokuts land. I am a graduate of the Sacred Vibes Spiritual Herbalism Apprenticeship Program and Columbia University School of Social Work. I have provided trauma-informed care to youth and adults, particularly queer and trans people and survivors of violence, for almost 15 years. I have also provided coaching, consultation, and training for individuals and organizations around pleasure, gender, sexuality, trauma, and intuition. My practice is grounded in my lived experience as a white and Southeast Asian, queer and non-binary person.
